Every studio has an origin story. Ours starts with a frustration that most creators and small business owners in Mumbai know all too well.
Back in 2019, our founders looked around at Mumbai’s creative landscape and saw the same pattern repeated everywhere. Brands that wanted professional content had to deal with a fragmented, exhausting process. You hired one person for photography. Someone else for video. Another agency for your website. A separate freelancer for social media. And through all of it, nothing quite felt like it belonged together – because none of those people had ever sat in the same room, talked to each other, or understood the full picture of what the brand was trying to achieve.
The content looked fine in isolation. But it never felt like a brand.

Dr. Hemal M Shah, Mr. Ankkit H. T., and Mr. Vipul V. Pore started MW Stuudio in Borivali with a simple but ambitious vision: to build the kind of creative studio that Mumbai’s creators and brands actually needed. Not just another rental space. Not just another photography studio or web agency. Our Journey From a Single Studio Room to Mumbai's Most Complete Creative Partner
MW Stuudio did not arrive fully formed. It was built deliberately, step by step, with each phase of growth guided by one question: what do our clients actually need next?
2019 - Where It All Began
MW Stuudio was established in 2019 in Borivali, western Mumbai. In those early days, the studio’s primary focus was on what it had always cared most about: audio. We offered podcast recording studio services, studio rentals, and music mixing and mastering – giving creators and musicians in Mumbai access to a professional acoustic environment without the extreme pricing of central Mumbai studios.
Those first months taught us something important: the creators and brands who came through our doors did not just need a room with good acoustics. They needed guidance. They needed someone who understood not just the technical side of recording, but the strategic side of what they were trying to build. Who was the audience? What was the format? How would the content be distributed? How would it grow?
That understanding shaped everything that came after.
2020 - Expanding Into Visual Storytelling
In 2020, MW Stuudio stepped into photography and videography. This was not a pivot – it was an evolution. The same clients who were recording podcasts with us were also asking for product shoots, model photography, brand videos, and reel content. They trusted us with their audio. They wanted to trust us with their visuals too.
We invested in professional camera systems, lighting rigs, and backdrop setups. We brought in photographers and videographers who understood not just the technical craft but the commercial application – shooting product images that performed on Amazon listings, model shots that worked for e-commerce, brand videos that captured a founder’s personality and vision.
By the end of 2020, MW Stuudio had become a genuinely multi-service creative studio – the kind of place where a brand could walk in with a concept and walk out with a complete content library.
2021 - Becoming a One-Stop Solution
The next step was the one that made MW Stuudio truly different from every other studio in Mumbai.
In 2021, we built out our digital marketing and web services arm. The reasoning was direct: our photography and video clients had stunning content - but too many of them had no effective digital infrastructure to amplify it. A gorgeous product catalogue with no e-commerce store to send customers to. A polished podcast with no website to build a listener community around.
We could either watch that happen and stay in our lane - or we could solve it.
We chose to solve it.
We hired web developers, SEO strategists, digital marketing specialists, and content writers. We built a Digital & Web services team that worked directly alongside our production team - not in a separate building, not through a referred agency, but in the same studio, briefed by the same account managers, aligned to the same client goals.
From that point forward, MW Stuudio was no longer just a creative studio. It was a complete creative and digital ecosystem - the only one of its kind in Borivali, and one of the very few in all of western Mumbai.
2022 to Today - Growing With Mumbai's Creator Economy
Since 2021, MW Stuudio has continued to grow in depth rather than just breadth. We have refined every service we offer, expanded our team, upgraded our equipment, and deepened our expertise across every discipline.
We have produced and launched multiple podcasts - from zero to active audiences on Spotify for Podcasters, Apple Podcasts, and YouTube. We have shot product catalogues for e-commerce sellers across Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, and Meesho. We have built and launched e-commerce websites and corporate sites for businesses across Mumbai.
